O Intercontinental Ensemble é uma fundação sediada nos Países Baixos, conhecida como 'Stichting' em neerlandês.

O objetivo da Stichting Intercontinental Ensemble é realizar espetáculos; estimular a prática musical através, entre outras coisas, da oferta de programas educativos e da participação em ensembles; e realizar todas as atividades adicionais que estejam relacionadas ou sejam favoráveis ao acima referido no sentido mais amplo.

ANBI

O Intercontinental Ensemble é uma Fundação ANBI. Se uma ANBI for uma instituição cultural, pode obter o estatuto de 'ANBI cultural'. Para ser reconhecida como ANBI cultural, a instituição deve estar ativa em pelo menos 90% no domínio cultural. Os doadores de ANBI culturais têm uma vantagem fiscal adicional, pois aplica-se uma dedução extra para donativos.

Board Treasurer

The Intercontinental Ensemble — an ambitious, hard-working chamber music company operating (inter)nationally with roots in IJburg — is looking for a new treasurer. Is that you, or do you know someone who wants to put their financial expertise to use and feels connected to classical music? We'd love to talk with you!

What you'll do

You help shape the ensemble's financial course and support the board with the budget, annual accounts and subsidy accountability. You safeguard the organisation's financial health and flag in good time where adjustments are needed.

Who we're looking for

Someone with financial knowledge and an affinity for (classical) music or culture. Experience in a board role is a plus, but not a requirement — we look above all at commitment and thinking power. A diverse background and perspective fit seamlessly with the international character of the ensemble. This role is also a great opportunity to take your first steps at board level, or to put your financial expertise to work in the cultural sector for the first time.

Time commitment

Around 2 hours per month.
