L'obiettivo della Stichting Intercontinental Ensemble è dare spettacoli; stimolare la pratica musicale attraverso, tra le altre cose, l'offerta di programmi educativi e la partecipazione a ensemble; e svolgere tutte le ulteriori attività correlate o favorevoli a quanto sopra nel senso più ampio.

ANBI

L'Intercontinental Ensemble è una Fondazione ANBI. Se un'ANBI è un'istituzione culturale, può ottenere lo status di 'ANBI culturale'. Per essere riconosciuta come ANBI culturale, l'istituzione deve essere attiva per almeno il 90% in ambito culturale. I donatori di ANBI culturali hanno un vantaggio fiscale aggiuntivo, poiché si applica una detrazione extra per le donazioni.

Board Treasurer

The Intercontinental Ensemble — an ambitious, hard-working chamber music company operating (inter)nationally with roots in IJburg — is looking for a new treasurer. Is that you, or do you know someone who wants to put their financial expertise to use and feels connected to classical music? We'd love to talk with you!

What you'll do

You help shape the ensemble's financial course and support the board with the budget, annual accounts and subsidy accountability. You safeguard the organisation's financial health and flag in good time where adjustments are needed.

Who we're looking for

Someone with financial knowledge and an affinity for (classical) music or culture. Experience in a board role is a plus, but not a requirement — we look above all at commitment and thinking power. A diverse background and perspective fit seamlessly with the international character of the ensemble. This role is also a great opportunity to take your first steps at board level, or to put your financial expertise to work in the cultural sector for the first time.

Time commitment

Around 2 hours per month.
