L'Intercontinental Ensemble est une fondation basée aux Pays-Bas, connue sous le nom de 'Stichting' en néerlandais.

L'objectif de la Stichting Intercontinental Ensemble est de donner des représentations ; de stimuler la pratique musicale en proposant notamment des programmes éducatifs et en permettant la participation à des ensembles ; et d'effectuer toutes les activités complémentaires liées ou favorables à ce qui précède au sens le plus large.

ANBI

Intercontinental Ensemble est une Fondation ANBI. Si une ANBI est une institution culturelle, elle peut obtenir le statut d'« ANBI culturelle ». Pour être reconnue comme ANBI culturelle, l'institution doit être active à au moins 90 % dans le domaine culturel. Les donateurs d'ANBI culturelles bénéficient d'un avantage fiscal supplémentaire, car une déduction de dons supplémentaire s'applique.

Board Treasurer

The Intercontinental Ensemble — an ambitious, hard-working chamber music company operating (inter)nationally with roots in IJburg — is looking for a new treasurer. Is that you, or do you know someone who wants to put their financial expertise to use and feels connected to classical music? We'd love to talk with you!

What you'll do

You help shape the ensemble's financial course and support the board with the budget, annual accounts and subsidy accountability. You safeguard the organisation's financial health and flag in good time where adjustments are needed.

Who we're looking for

Someone with financial knowledge and an affinity for (classical) music or culture. Experience in a board role is a plus, but not a requirement — we look above all at commitment and thinking power. A diverse background and perspective fit seamlessly with the international character of the ensemble. This role is also a great opportunity to take your first steps at board level, or to put your financial expertise to work in the cultural sector for the first time.

Time commitment

Around 2 hours per month.
