El Intercontinental Ensemble es una fundación con sede en los Países Bajos, conocida como 'Stichting' en neerlandés.

El objetivo de la Stichting Intercontinental Ensemble es ofrecer actuaciones; estimular la práctica musical mediante, entre otras cosas, la oferta de programas educativos y la participación en agrupaciones musicales; y realizar todas las actividades adicionales que estén relacionadas o sean favorables a lo anterior en el sentido más amplio.

ANBI

Intercontinental Ensemble es una Fundación ANBI. Si una ANBI es una institución cultural, puede obtener el estatus de 'ANBI cultural'. Para ser reconocida como ANBI cultural, la institución debe estar activa al menos en un 90% en el ámbito cultural. Los donantes de ANBI culturales tienen una ventaja fiscal adicional, ya que se les aplica una deducción extra por donaciones.

Board Treasurer

The Intercontinental Ensemble — an ambitious, hard-working chamber music company operating (inter)nationally with roots in IJburg — is looking for a new treasurer. Is that you, or do you know someone who wants to put their financial expertise to use and feels connected to classical music? We'd love to talk with you!

What you'll do

You help shape the ensemble's financial course and support the board with the budget, annual accounts and subsidy accountability. You safeguard the organisation's financial health and flag in good time where adjustments are needed.

Who we're looking for

Someone with financial knowledge and an affinity for (classical) music or culture. Experience in a board role is a plus, but not a requirement — we look above all at commitment and thinking power. A diverse background and perspective fit seamlessly with the international character of the ensemble. This role is also a great opportunity to take your first steps at board level, or to put your financial expertise to work in the cultural sector for the first time.

Time commitment

Around 2 hours per month.
